A lightweight float tube built to pack down for the walk to the water

A 150kg-rated belly boat with a multi-nozzle pump and adjustable carry straps.

Spotravel's float tube is aimed at anglers who have to walk into a swim rather than park next to it — adjustable shoulder straps and a fast-inflating pump with interchangeable nozzles mean less faff between the car and the water.

Spotravel Inflatable Fishing Float Tube, 150kg Capacity Belly Boat

A lot of the best still-water swims are not next to the car park, and a float tube that is awkward to carry gets left at home more often than it should. Spotravel built this one with that walk in mind: adjustable shoulder straps let you carry the deflated (or partially inflated) tube like a backpack rather than wrestling it under one arm.

Once you are at the water, the included hand pump has multiple nozzle attachments so you are not caught out by a valve that does not match — a small detail that avoids a wasted trip when it actually matters. The tube itself carries a 150kg rating and is built from a PVC interior with a 600D polyester exterior for the abrasion resistance that reed-lined swims demand.

A paddle, rod holder and fins come as standard, so it is set up as a complete kit rather than a bare hull you then need to accessorise before your first outing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it easy to carry to a swim?

The adjustable shoulder straps are designed for exactly that — carrying the tube to less accessible swims rather than needing to park right next to the water.

Does the pump fit different valve types?

It comes with multiple nozzle attachments, so it should fit the tube's own valve as well as most standard fittings if you add other inflatable gear later.

What is included besides the tube?

A paddle, adjustable rod holder and a pair of fins ship with it, along with the multi-nozzle hand pump.

What does delivery cost and how long does it take?

Delivery cost and an estimate for your address are shown at checkout before you pay. Free delivery applies over the qualifying order value.

Can I return it if it is not right?

Yes — return it unused, with packaging where possible, under our returns policy for an exchange or refund.

Is checkout secure?

Card details are handled on Stripe or PayPal's own hosted pages and never touch our servers.

Packing a float tube for a proper walk-in session

3 min read Float & Cast

Getting a float tube to the water is often more effort than fishing it, especially when the best swims are the ones without easy parking.

Deflate smart, not fully

You do not always need to fully deflate a float tube between the car and the swim — partially deflating it while keeping the shoulder straps taut often makes for an easier carry than starting from completely flat and re-inflating twice.

Test the pump nozzles at home

Before your first walk-in trip, check which of the pump's nozzle fittings matches this tube's valve and inflate it fully once at home. That way you are not experimenting with attachments streamside with a heavy bag on your back.

Plan the route, not just the distance

A short walk over rough or wet ground can be harder on a carried tube than a longer walk on a firm path. Favour routes that avoid dragging the tube through brambles or over sharp stones, even if it adds a few extra minutes.

Rod holder placement for the walk

Fit the rod holder once you arrive rather than en route — carrying a made-up rod through undergrowth is how tips get snapped. Set the boat up fully at the water's edge, then launch.
